On November 19, 2021, I embarked on an unexpected journey, filled with twists and turns, that led me to a school with a truly unique and inclusive education setup. The young principal, “ USSAMA RASOOL QADRI, a beacon of hope and inspiration, is unlike any leader I have encountered before.
His passion for creating a nurturing environment for young minds is palpable, and his enthusiasm is infectious.🫶🏻🫶🏻
Amidst the daily chaos of the school, one thing remains constant: the unwavering potential and spark of my leader.🤍🤍 His dedication to making a difference in the lives of his students and his ability to motivate the team are truly remarkable. Even in the face of adversity, he remained a pillar of strength, showing me how to navigate through the worst situations with resilience and grace.♥️♥️
“My Team”🥹♥️—yes, I call it MY TEAM. They are my family, and the love and care that we share towards each other is a magical bond. Always try to face every storm together.
This unexpected journey has taught me valuable lessons, and my leader has become a mentor who has inspired me to strive for a more compassionate and understanding world. I want this place to become a home and a loving place for my kids. That they will wear like a medal.🥹🤞🏻

Since the day I came to fill out the form, the place felt like a magical space, a kid’s heaven. There were kids going on a nature walk, music playing on the balcony, and a kid playing with a baby tortoise. I knew I would love this place.🥺
Since I joined the school, Ussama has been a true inspiration. The way he does things is so motivating, whether it’s solving a writing issue for a student or fixing a nail in our treehouse. He is like a box of solutions and ideas for all our problems. He’s been a constant source of inspiration in my life.
From the day I was interviewed to join the school till now and beyond, I always turn to him for solutions, ideas, and even personal problems. He’s changed my life for the better, and he continues to do so every day.
He’s the person who changed my perspective, especially towards ‘men,’ after the interview. 😂The only person to whom I don’t mind scolding me. He’s the 5evaaa cool boss who would play badminton with you, give you advice, and make your life better.🌟
With ViVi, my experience has been a roller coaster. There were days when I felt absolute joy working with kids, building things, and painting walls. There were also days when I felt like giving up, thinking I can’t do this anymore.🥶
But I hope to be a part of it and his team for a long time. I hope it grows, and people understand its mission, and vision, and support it. ❤️

After completing my psychology studies, I thought I had a solid understanding of human behavior and child development. I believed I had learned the fundamentals of what makes people tick, particularly when it comes to children. However, joining Vivi – The Bear School revealed a whole new dimension of understanding. I quickly realized that there is far more to human minds and hearts than what textbooks can teach. The practical, hands-on experience here has opened my eyes to the complexities of nurturing children’s emotional, mental, and social growth in ways I had never imagined.
Vivi is not just a school; it’s a vibrant community where parents, teachers, staff, and students connect on a much deeper level. It is a place where everyone is united by a shared passion and commitment: making children happy and helping them thrive. The sense of purpose here goes beyond the usual responsibilities of teaching or caregiving; it is driven by a genuine love for the children and a collective desire to foster their well-being. It is not just a duty; it is a passion that permeates every aspect of this environment.
From the moment I stepped in, I felt welcomed and supported. The team here is incredibly encouraging, and the mentors I have had the privilege of learning from have been nothing short of inspiring. Our principal, Ussama, stands out as a true leader and mentor, a source of continuous inspiration. His guidance and dedication are what make him a figure who feels straight out of a movie. His influence has been transformative, and his leadership has fostered an environment where we all feel valued and motivated to give our best each day. 🥰🥰
What truly makes each day special is the presence of the children. They bring boundless joy and love into my life, constantly reminding me why I chose this path. Their enthusiasm, curiosity, and unique personalities inspire me every day. I am so grateful to be part of this incredible team, working together to make a meaningful difference in the field of education. It is an honor to contribute to their growth and well-being, knowing that we are shaping the future, one child at a time.

The day I gave my interview, I never thought I would get the job, but somehow Ussama saw my potential and hired me on the spot, which left me surprised yet extremely happy. Ever since, it’s been a long journey full of amazing experiences that have helped me grow both professionally and emotionally.
I had no work experience—just raw confidence and the will to become something. But Sir Ussama has shaped me into the person I am today. He has helped me with everything, from teaching me how to handle kids and their academics to supporting their emotional well-being, and even helping me with my own struggles and conflicts. I really couldn’t have asked for a better mentor. He’s more of a friend than a boss and truly my biggest inspiration. ❤️
Since then, I have learned so much from him. Working with him has given me many opportunities, and he has allowed me to polish my artistic skills and further enhance them. I love that I’m able to do all the creative things I enjoy and have always wanted to pursue, like pottery, sculpting, and painting.
I am given so much love here that it almost feels unreal—by the kids, their parents, and the team. ViVi is my literal happy place; it’s like a second home to me! 🐻
I absolutely love that I can always rely on the team because to me, it feels like family. Especially Ms. Muqaddas and Ms. Sadia, who are the most fun-loving and supportive mentors. It’s been an amazing journey of learning, educating, and embracing growth. We’re all so close and connected, always having each other’s backs. Having an environment like this gives me the motivation to come to school super early and work like crazy—only because I enjoy it so much.
From spray painting walls together to sitting on the floor working for hours as a team to build our new space, to all those silly jokes, long meetings, morning breakfasts, and staying late to decorate the school for events, we’ve been through it all. ✨
I am looking forward to learning more and more to become a better teacher and person so that I can educate young minds in the best way possible.

Stepping into the world of psychology, I always dreamed of exploring educational psychology and working with special children. That dream led me to Vivi – The Bear School.
Working in an inclusive setup isn’t as simple as it looks. Building a connection with children is much like establishing rapport between a client and a therapist—it takes patience, effort, and time. Initially, it felt overwhelming, and I questioned my abilities. But with time, persistence, and love for what I do, the journey became smoother.
Now, the bond I’ve created with my students is priceless. Their smiles and excitement when I’m around, and even their little “We missed you” moments when I’m absent for a day, remind me why this work matters so much.
None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support of Sir Ussama. From the day of my interview, he saw potential in me that I didn’t fully see in myself. His guidance, motivation, and constant encouragement—no matter how small my achievements—have made all the difference.
Beyond being an incredible counselor to students and parents, Sir Ussama is the kind of leader every teacher dreams of. He fosters an environment where learning, playing, and growing together become the norm, for both students and teachers.
Working at an inclusive school like Vivi becomes a truly joyful and rewarding experience when you’re led by someone as inspiring and supportive as Sir Ussama.

For the past four years, I’ve been an integral part of this remarkable team, starting as a volunteer with a background in conventional schooling. Initially, I held the belief that schools were places where strict rules inhibited our ability to express ourselves freely. However, my perspective underwent a profound transformation when I encountered an exceptional mentor who embodied a philosophy of breaking down barriers and fostering an environment where children could openly speak their minds.
This transformative experience happened at ViVi, a unique school that stood in stark contrast to my previous notions of education. Under the guidance of inspiring educators, including a mentor we’ll simply refer to as Sir Ussama, I found myself drawn to the vibrant atmosphere where restrictions melted away. This shift fueled my passion, leading me to attend classes even on regular school days, occasionally daring to skip my own classes.
My involvement deepened during a summer break when I joined ViVi’s summer camp as a volunteer, making it my favorite summer yet. Post my matriculation, I made the daily journey to the school, realizing that my connection with the kids, especially those with special needs, was something I couldn’t easily let go of. Recognizing my potential, the educators at ViVi, including Sir Ussama, instilled in me skills like woodwork and pottery—something I never thought I could excel in before.
I am forever grateful for the invaluable mentorship and opportunities presented to me at ViVi, particularly under the guidance of Sir Ussama. The years spent there are filled with countless memories, and I can’t fathom leaving the school and the children behind. My dream now is to pass on the knowledge and skills acquired under the ViVi philosophy to our students. I aspire to create a school that mirrors ViVi’s ethos, a place where children who don’t conform to traditional educational settings can explore life skills, farming, arts, pottery, and woodwork alongside their academic studies.

I first entered this incredible place as a volunteer, initially uncertain about whether I would continue or if I was truly cut out for the role. At the time, I had doubts about whether I could meet the expectations and fulfill the criteria necessary to become a teacher. I questioned my own abilities and whether I was capable of making a meaningful impact. However, as time passed and I spent more time in this environment, I began to see my own potential more clearly. I started to recognize my growth and the skills I had developed, which helped me gain confidence in my abilities.
I truly believe that Sir Ussama recognized this potential much earlier, perhaps even on the very day of my interview, when I was unsure of myself. His foresight and faith in me played a crucial role in shaping my journey here. Over time, I transitioned from simply being a collaborator to becoming a full-fledged teacher within Ussama’s team. This transformation has been an incredible learning experience, and it has given me the confidence to step into this role with a renewed sense of purpose.
Ussama is not just a boss; he is a remarkable leader. His leadership style fosters an environment of trust, respect, and collaboration, creating a sense of family within the team that I have not encountered anywhere else. He leads with empathy, always guiding and supporting us to be the best versions of ourselves. This unique approach has cultivated an environment where every member of the team feels valued and empowered, and it is this environment that makes this place so special.
What I love most about being here is the vibrant and supportive atmosphere. It’s not just about the work we do—it’s about the people. The kids, my colleagues, and my friends here each bring something unique to the table. Every person I’ve met at this place carries their own story, their own journey, and these individual experiences contribute to the collective energy and spirit that defines our community. We are all talented in our own ways, and everyone progresses at their own pace, which makes this place truly special and inspiring. It is a place where growth is nurtured, both personally and professionally, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of this family. 💓

My interview day at the school was a bit nerve-wracking as it marked my first experience, but it transformed into a pleasant memory upon meeting @ussama.rq , my true inspiration.
The school’s theme and Ussama’s vision deeply resonated with me. Meeting the friendly and dedicated individuals on the team showcased a commitment to creating a positive environment.
Vivi isn’t merely a school; it’s a supportive family where everyone assists each other through challenges. Ussama isn’t just a boss; he genuinely cares about each team member. His motivation and friendship-like encouragement empower us to persevere. I appreciate how he turns tough moments into opportunities for learning and growth.
The friends I’ve made at ViVi have become a work family, making the job not just about work but also about enjoying the journey. Teaching students and witnessing their understanding of new concepts are unforgettable moments. Our school even includes animals, adding to its natural and enjoyable environment.
Reflecting on the experience, I realize how much I’ve learned. It’s not just a job; it’s a journey filled with enriching experiences. Ussama’s positive attitude instills a belief that we can achieve anything together. I’m grateful to be part of this wonderful team that feels like a second family.❤️❤️
